These crosses are going to be made for people who have lost a loved one or pet and are going to be made to order. I will have a few styles to choose from. The customer will pick the size of the cross , the color and also there will be a message displayed on the front of the cross. I have sheets of stainless steel that I am using for my material. The fist step is to cut the cross on my vinyl cutter , then apply it to the stainless. I do it wet with a mix of dish soap like dawn or Palmolive , I add a couple drops to a whole spray bottle of water. I remove the decal and spray the back. Place it on the steel and work out any bubbles with my squeeze. Wipe the excess water and let it dry. After it's dry I take a fine tip sharpie and at about a 45 degree angle I drag the tip around the outside of the cross , then peel the design away. Leaving me with a completly straight edge. The stainless is going to be cut out with a grinder cause I don't have a plasma cutter. You can see I'm one of my previous projects I made a cross for my friends grave and the corners were rounded. I squared them off as much as possible with the grinder. Then rounded them on a bench top grinder. I do have a ban saw that works perfect. But its not in my work area at the momoent. I'll post some pictures of the finished products.
